Lesar Restaurant

Creative, delicious dishes that made us slow down to savor the layered flavors and unique choice of ingredients used. The celery starter dish was unique and resembled the flavors of an apple pie which was ingenious. The fish was well cooked and moist. Everything was well seasoned and didn't feel too heavy or rich. I enjoyed myself and would love to visit again.

The dishes are creative and feature an intentional and delightful play on flavors. The egg with mushrooms was sublime, and the squab cooked to perfection with nuanced flavor contrasts. Ana and Oscar are wonderful and warm chefs! Remarkable experience!

This is an AMAZING restaurant! Having visited 3 times, the high standard of food is consistent. The sharing plates show great finesse in the cooking - a fantastic combination of flavours along with beautiful presentation. The restaurant’s decor is fresh and modern and the kitchen is open so you can see the chefs at work. Not only is the service charming, the prices are amazing - so reasonable for the quality of the food and the technical skills of the chefs. It’s a culinary experience combined with a very relaxed and friendly vibe. Best meals ever in Paris!

By far the best meal we had in the 4 days we were in Paris and honestly top 5 restaurants we have eaten at in 20 years of being able to afford places like Lesar. The flavors of the dishes are like heaven in every bite. The small plate concept makes you take your time and enjoy every bite. BUT….. the entire restaurant only seats 30 or so people and is staffed by only the Chef and 2 others. This last sentence is VERY important to read. If you are looking for a quick meal with big portions and a quieter atmosphere this is not the place for you. If you are looking for one of the best tasting meals you will ever have where you can take your time and enjoy an entire bottle of wine before you even finish dessert, this will become your go to restaurant in Paris.

It was the best dinner we had in Paris! The atmosphere and food were amazing. Even though there were only two chefs and one waitress, the waiting time wasn’t long. The prices were also very reasonable. Thanks a lot for excellent service and evening!

The very high average rating is totally warranted. The food is so so good. You have the choice between three vegetable, three fish and three meat plates (to share). I got one of each and that was enough (to be honest I added a tremendous chocolate dessert also). The interior could receive input from a designer, not that it’s bad but — a bit typical for French restaurants — it’s a bit everything and nothing. Also, some more soft surfaces to absorb noises would be great. But I’m really mentioning minor details here as you shouldn’t hesitate a split second before taking a reservation — which is highly recommended. This place is very good.

The dishes were delicate,delicious and very reasonably priced. Super nice and friendly service and chef, located in a calm neighborhood with a soft minimalist storefront with a cozy vibe.

Lesar is such a rare gem! I had the most incredible dishes with unparalleled flavors. There is such artistry in each dish, and each plate, from the sourcing of the products to the plating is done with such care and passion. The sauces are so delicious all you want to do is have more of their insanely good bread to soak up every single drop! Some plates I had include sea bass carpaccio with a yuzu dashi topped with vibrant flower petals, and pork with plum and a ginger sauce. I haven't even mentioned the freshness of the desserts with seasonal fruit and homemade ice cream and the impressive wine list! I can't wait to come back!
